Varied perspectives help us to build constructive working relationships.
Kate is an associate in the family team in London. She advises on a wide range of family law issues including financial disputes following the breakdown of a relationship, nuptial and cohabitation agreements, and arrangements for children. She has a specialist interest in the tax issues which may be encountered by families going through a separation.
As a Resolution member, Kate is committed to approaching family disputes in a constructive way and advocates the use of out of court dispute resolution where appropriate. She has been praised by clients for her ‘calm yet firm guidance’, ‘professionalism, kindness and empathy’ and ‘excellent practical advice’.
After reading law at Exeter University, Kate joined the graduate programme in M&A tax at Deloitte before pivoting to family law in 2017. She then trained and worked at a specialist divorce and litigation firm in the City prior to joining Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2024.
